10.9% financing only available through Mercedes-Benz Financial on approved credit for a limited time. Only available on 24 month finance term and only applicable to MY 2006-2008 models (less than 120,000 km). Finance example based on a 2006 model: $20,000 at 0.9% per annum equals $841.42 per month for 24 months. Cost of borrowing is $194.08 for a total of $20,194.08. Down payment may be required. Multipoint inspection
A 150-point certification inspection is performed on every Mercedes-Benz Certified vehicle. This inspection includes a comprehensive review of the vehicle's appearance, safety systems, electrical systems and components, undercarriage and drivetrain, engine performance, and fluid levels. An on-the-road test is performed as is an extensive post-drive analysis and a complete service history is supplied.
Warranty coverage
There are three types of warranties that may be available on the vehicle you purchase: the balance of the Factory Warranty, the Star Certified warranty, and/or an Extended Limited Warranty.
Balance of Factory Warranty
If the Certified vehicle you purchase has not yet reached the factory warranty age and mileage limits, you can take advantage of the balance of this warranty.
Star Certified Warranty
Certified vehicles may also be covered by a two-year, 40,000-km Star Certified Warranty. The Star Certified Warranty is valid for 24 to 72 months from the initial registration date of the vehicle. It provides major component and power train coverage as well as roadside assistance. Extended Limited Warranty

Vehicles built specifically for the Canadian market
The Canadian market is different. Some vehicle types and engines such as the B-Class, C250, C250 4MATIC, C350 4MATIC, and S450 4MATIC are unique to the Canadian market. When establishing equipment levels for the Canadian market, Mercedes-Benz Canada chooses standard features and equipment that are best suited to meet the challenge of Canada's wide-ranging environmental and driving conditions in addition to the needs of Canadian customers. If you are comparing vehicles from other markets, like the United States, please bear in mind this critical component, as in many cases equipped-for-Canada cars are more-equipped than those in the U.S.A. Therefore, a simple Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* comparison is inaccurate at best and only represents part of the entire picture. There are also market-specific equipment differences. Depending on the model, Canadian and U.S. vehicles can differ considerably in terms of specifications. Unlike U.S. vehicles, equipped-for-Canada vehicles may include any of the following features in terms of specification or standard equipment:
- Heated windshield washer system;
- All-season tires;
- Headlamp washers;
- Bi-xenon headlamps;
- Heated exterior mirrors;
- Factory/VPC applied undercoating for corrosion protection;
- Other equipment and/or modifications specific to colder climates.

- Convenient lease renewal process with loyalty rate reductions up to 0.75%.
Warranty and service benefits
A U.S. vehicle is entitled to the standard 4-year/80,000 km warranty, 8-year/130,000 km emission warranty and an adjustment period of 1 year/20,000 km, once the vehicle has been modified to meet Canadian specifications at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer in Canada. Requirements vary by model and may include the installation of daytime running lights and changing instrumentation, gear shift selector and certain comfort features. This process can add up financially and take an extended time to complete. After modifications have been carried out, the vehicle must be inspected by a representative of Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. for which a service fee of $500 applies. Equipped-for-Canada vehicles have the following coverage not available to U.S. imports:
- 2 years / 40,000 km wear & tear, covering brake pads, rotors as well as light bulbs.
- 5-year perforation corrosion coverage.
- Full battery coverage up to 4 years / 80,000 km (U.S. vehicles are covered for 2 years / 40,000 km).
- Extended Limited Warranty or Star Certified / pre-owned warranties will not be issued by Mercedes-Benz Canada for U.S. vehicles.
- Free service pick-up and delivery for S-Class, SL-Class, CL-Class, and G-Class models from and to customer's residence or office.
- Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. provides vehicle owners with Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance, 24 hours, 365 days a year, for four years.
- Goodwill consideration after the expiration of the new car warranty.
Additionally, there are service implications regarding imported vehicles. The Canadian dealer organization is trained and equipped to service equipped-for-Canada vehicles. While the Canadian dealer organization provides warranty and other services for U.S. vehicles "visiting" Canada, the organization is not set up to provide such services for U.S. vehicles "resident" in Canada. For example, U.S.-only parts in U.S. vehicles are not stocked in Canada.
